About The Child Experience Summer Camps
TCE Canada Summer Camps were created to keep children engaged throughout the summer months. Our programs allow children to interact with other campers their age while being mentored by students in high school and post secondary educational institutions. Our programs have a focus in sports, drama activities and arts and crafts. Every camper is encouraged to participate in all three activities each day while also participating in games, songs, cheers and team building exercises. Campers will have the opportunity to go to parks, pools and splash pads within their community on a weekly basis. There will also be camp field trips to a variety of destinations within Toronto.
We are proud to announce that TCE Canada Summer Camps offers 14 different locations. Find a camp near you and register your child in one of our camp programs!
TCE Canada works on a non-profit basis and is determined to keep registration costs low in order to make camp accessible to all children. Please navigate to our Registration Page or contact us for more details.
The Child Experience Summer Camps are day camps, where participants have the opportunity to make great friends, play and grow through activities and make amazing life-long memories. Each day campers rotate through 3 fun areas full of activities. At TCE Summer Camps we try to address the WHOLE CHILD: mind, body and spirit. In the Camp Activities Area, campers are treated to activities that give them opportunity to both lead and be part of a team to think their way through exciting and interesting challenges. In the Sports & Games Area, participants enjoy fun and active organized sport as well as games that let them develop coordination and body awareness. In the Arts Area, campers participate in Dramatic Arts activities that help their spirits build creativity, expression and self-esteem. Each day, campers get to grow in these three areas by spending a third of the day having fun and seeing the positive effects these activities have had on the Counsellors.
Each weekly camp is different because it is based on a different theme. Themes of the past have included World Cup Soccer, the Olympics, the Academy Awards, the United Nations and Glee, but our counsellors are very creative and will surely be introducing new themes this year. At Whole Child we like to get to the pool as much as possible, and try to have at least one walk or nature hike each day. On theme days, fun camp-wide activities include play days, drama competitions, treasure hunts and BBQs
A Day at Camp In the morning, campers are divided into age groups and rotate through three activity session: Arts, Drama, Sports and Games. In the afternoon we do an activity or an excursion all together as a camp.
